Should Brett Ratner be prohibited from ever directing a film again or is X-Men: The Last Stand sufficient grounds for execution?

Actually, the triple-suckage-in-a-row of Rush Hour 2, Red Dragon and After The Sunset was enough for me to call a fatwa on the mofo. Jesus, I think I just realized that I spent theater money on all three of those movies. I have got to get out of this podunk town.

The trigger for this question was a little post at Cinematical called Jackie Chan Says Brett Ratner Can't Shoot Action Scenes [cinematical.com] , which immediately brought to mind Ratner's pathetic attempts at directing.

Although my first thought was wow, Jackie, aren't you the perceptive one!, the second though was well, what can he direct? And why is Jackie Chan happy to join with Ratner for the third time? (Not that Jackie Chan's choice of films and/or directors is necessarily an indication of anything: The Tuxedo; wtf?
