This is true. I figure I'm just trying to pass along the karma -- it was given to me on a silver platter, and now that I've got so many people that seem to pay attention to me, I thought I might try to leverage it to help out someone who I think is equally as deserving!

Dave, post a bit on the main page as well. Most of the people in the JE (circle, community, lifestyle, wtf do you call this?) pretty much naturally "Karma whore."

Since you've restricted your wit and wisdom to us JE people, there's less of us to mod you up. Hit a main page story, and if you need any help, well, we got ways of earning karma.

Well, notice that it hasn't worked yet.

I thought I'd give it a try, though. The karma angels booted me up to excellent in 13 days' time of the first day I registered (which was also my first visit to /.)

I thought I might be able to request a favor on your behalf, but it might not work that way. We'll see -- not everybody gets mod points all the time, particularly not the people who like me enough (i.e., the weirdos) to help you out. But we'll see. :-)

NOW you find a way to spend Mod points, when I don't have any to spare. Now do you see the reason we need to have a Moderation points bank account? Just think of all those points I could have given to DD, that instead went to supporting someone who doesn't need support.
