I choose organic because it tastes batter!
Organic produce tends to be more flavorful.
My favorite example is chicken. In the US, cheap factory farm raised chicken has an almost spongy consistency, and tastes rather bland. Organic, free range chicken is much tougher and flavorful, I don't mind paying more for food that I will enjoy more.
Another example is beef. Cattle that graze on grass produce beef that just tastes better. In addition, the meat contains more CLA (healthy fat) than corn fed.
Finally, I feel better about my decision. For animals that are bred to die, at least I know they weren't cooped up all their life. I believe happy animals produce better tasting meat :)
