It's already happening and it's all thanks to Steam. Look at the games on greenlight; most support linux. Those that don't, the forums are filled with people asking for linux support.

Look at kickstarter; most games being made by indies are going to support Linux

I'm sitting between Chicago and Milwaukee (South East Wisconsin).

Not only did Sprint not have Wisconsin listed on their 4G website, but service around here has gotten MUCH worse in the last few months.

I got sick of throwing away money for shit service and went to US Cellular. Awesome service/speed.

There was a story recently about computers at drone facilities being infected by Windows-based viruses. And we've known for years now that the connection to the drones is not encrypted (which is why $500 worth of laptop+sat cards allows insurgents to view drone feeds).

Somehow I doubt the drones themselves are of much higher caliber software wise. Wouldn't surprise me if the software and hardware isn't protected.

After wiki-leaks especially, it wouldn't surprise me if Iran had their hands on source code and hardware specs already and DID bring the drone down electronically.

On the touchpad, one of the big selling points was the ability to print to HP printers.

Of course, most HP printers didn't work. Like my LaserJet 1018. Or Color Laserjet 4600.

Come to think of it, never got a single printer working with it. There's a reason HP's profits are down 90%.

Is it so hard to have an ARM version of CUPS that can print to everything?

Is a person who blows up banks an econoclast?
