Short Circuit's Journal: AoR: Ralek, Voltore, and an Ape named Ape

Ralek and Voltore are ready again. This time, they'll face a large ape, for a prize of 1000 gold each.

For Ralek and Voltore, this is getting to be routine. They've begun the battle 15 feet away from the ape.

Ralek charges, swings and misses. He looks up into the large, glaring eyes of the malicious ape. Voltore charges, swings, and drops his weapon. Ralek curses.

The ape, for his part, sees two dwarfs standing in front of him. The ape swings and bashes Voltore with his mighty fist.

Ralek shouts, "Shout if you need to be healed!" He then aims, swings, and misses. NOT a good start, he thinks to himself.

Voltore takes aim, swings, and hits.

The ape bites at Rolek, and leaves a couple holes in his shoulder. Ralek returns with a swing, but misses.

Voltor takes aim, swings, and hits. The ape swipes at Voltor, but misses.

Ralek swings, and deals a heavy blow to the ape's leg. That oughta smart!

Voltor swings, but misses.

The ape swings at Rolek, but misses.

Ralek swings, and hits, dealing another heavy blow.

Voltor swings, and cuts a deep gash in the ape's legs. The ape collapses, nearly falling on them.

They collect their prize, and return to the lower levels.
