Journal GMontag's Journal: MTIHLL Shocker: Glaciers are still receding [yawn]

More Things I have Learned Lately

I am reminded that [oh the humanity!] northern hemisphere glaciers are receding. Thanks for the hot tip, glacoids, I notice that they are receding every time I see a picture of the Great Lakes. When they start advancing again wake me from my nap.

A UN study says that the world is ending, there is nothing we can do about it and the EU says that means the USA needs to pay them more money. Things like that make me wish that our Socialist (FDR) had stayed neutral in WWII and let those euro-Socialists duke it out, while we mopped up Asia of course.

Hillary was against the war, even when she voted for it.

Senator Joe Biden meant crisp instead of clean when he was talking about Barack H. Obama. My assessment still stands with any synonym. Senator went on to explain, using an attributed quote from his mother, what he really meant to say. Methinks Senator Biden needs to stick with the words of others and cease the use of his own.

The folks south of the USA are getting upset at the price of corn. Thanks ethenol freaks. Added bonus: ethenol makes more smog than gasoline.

I am in the only hotel in Miami without hot hookers, or I just can't spot them like I used to be able to.

Rush Limbaugh has been nominated for an award far beneath him: The Nobel Peace Prize. Things like that are more appropriate for Albert Gore, Jr., Yasser Arafat, James Earl Carter III, Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Fidel Castro, William Jefferson Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Edward Kennedy, Jr., Robert Kennedy, Jr., The Dixie Chicks, Don Imus, Zack de la Rocha, David Corn, David Weigel, Ezra Klein, Jane Fonda, Ted Turner, Pol Pot, General Wesley Clark and others. I say this as a Time Magazine Person of the Year.
