Writers block .. I just can't write any poetry .
Something is missing and I don't know exactly what , This is really frustrating me
Every single sentence I write seems to be lacking any real hear or meaning.
Perhaps I am just angry or upset about something . nothing really to cause it though.

Have you ever been in a position when your thoughts are racing with so many ideas trying to escape . Yet not a single one can pass through because they are jamming the door ways.
My creativity is waning and I feel I'm slipping into some monotonous void .
Dark days when all you can think about is the passing of the minutes before you get to sleep .

  • Its a toughy. Since we only have so much energy, creative or otherwise, our creativity can suffer when our energy is distributed elsewhere. One of the things that I did to get out of the rut was to read either fantasy or science fiction before bed. Then, before falling asleep, I'd imagine the world in the book I just read. It keeps the imagination flowing without struggling to get stuff out.

    I've also had the blockage which comes from a jumble of ideas. I tried once to actually write 4 or 5 seperate t

    • I never structure . I like to keep it raw and like a literal brain dump .
      I should perhaps play my word games to help build up some skits . (my faviourit one of One starting letter per sentence ...IE: monotonous maladies mending my memory more malevolently month on month )

      I do in fact Imagine entire worlds before I fall asleep , I used to suffer awful insomnia and I found it a great way to drift off to dream land .. In fact it is how i first induced Lucid dreaming .I would love to get the world on paper one
