My forecasts are of course, definitive, and no, I won't tell you who will win the Superbowl - that would steel the pleasure from those who want to wait until the final curtain, er whistle.
Giuliani will be the nominee. Rice won't run, and RG won't be able to persuade her to take the VP slot. He will settle for Liddy Dole, who has more talent for politics anyway.

But as much as I want to go against Rudy, I have to admit, he would be formidable. You have to go with a former executive (governor, mayor, etc.) as a sitting Senator barely stands a chance (one reason I'm doubtful of McCain, he couldn't even get past South Carolina.)
I'm wondering about Tom Ridge, though. Definitely has the chops and would fairly well demolish just about anyone else on the

Reagan had been divorced, and was from Hollywood. NYC has more people and more problems than most of the states, so NYC mayor is equivalent to Governor. Had he not had the bad luck with prostate cancer, HRC would not be the senator from New York now. If RG picks a conservative Southerner like Dole (admittedly vulnerable on her age, but apparently in good health), he'll keep the redstaters in the fold.
