Chabo's Journal: Darth Tang: An Introduction

A while back I was a regular on a forum called IPR; one of the members was a police officer from central Texas who went by the name of Darth Tang. He would occasionally post stories of his adventures as a police officer on the forum, and because I found the stories incredibly interesting to read, I archived them, to make sure they never were lost.

Over the next few weeks, I'll be reposting his archived stories here on my Slashdot journal. Some of the stories are funny, some are sad, and some are very controversial, but I think all of them are worth reading.

Obviously, since Darth Tang doesn't feel like providing his real name, and there are many people for whom he CAN'T release their real name, most of the names have been changed.

When there's additional discussion from the IPR forum that's relevant, I'll post it below the entry. This will mostly occur when a forum member asked a question about the story, and Darth answered.

I'd like to add a disclaimer: I do not necessarily agree with all of the actions or words of Darth Tang, but rather just post his stories. All stories are left in their original form, including all spelling, grammar, and colorful language.
