Is IP a pre-capitalist concept?
"...in allowing both exploiter and producer direct access to their means of reproduction, pre-capitalist property forms...freed both exploiters and producers from the necessity to produce for exchange, thus of the necessity to sell competitively on the market their output, and thus of the necessity to produce at the socially necessary rate...In consequence, both producers and exploiters were relieved of the necessity to cut costs so as to maintain themselves, and so the necessity constantly to improve production through specialization and/or accumulation and/or innovation. The property relations, in themselves, failed to impose that relentless pressure on the individual producers to improve which...is an indispensable condition for economic development." -- Robert Brenner 1980's

Link : I still think China should provide testing facilities(only) for NK's first attempt however unlikely they[NK] would/will want to take advantage of the offer. Not that it is good idea to have more nuke powers but safety is a major concern for all Pac-Rim. USA can buzz off in my opinion. Their[USA] needs in the region are pure exploitation and agit-prop so it might be wise to ignore them. A Civil power generation program might be more useful to North Korea and Canada should be offering to help with testing/research personnel. Which, alas, is also unlikely.

Image Link: Ann rips a new one, as usual. A true diamond among the turds.

Anywise, thanks fer your journal.

As for employment here(BC); It's tough(lots looking) but there is a wide selection. If you have experience in IT plus banking you will have "choice". A second language is a big bonus here(any, tho Chinese or French is best, and will get you extra $$$ and wider choice of positions).
