AcidDan writes "Majel Barret-Roddenberry, the First Lady of Star Trek, aka "Number One", Nurse Chapel, Lwaxana Troi and the voice of the venerable Next-Generation computers has passed away at her home in Bel-Air. She will be sorely missed by fans, but we should all take a minute to consider her friends and especially her family at this difficult time."
