So my grandmother who lives where there is no cable TV is only being brainwashed by the Christian Broadcast Network now.... (seriously)
I thought it said Charlie Sheen
They did this on a TV show before, was somewhat interesting.
AI will do what it is programming to do and follow the rules we lay out for it to follow.
A lot of people have no business being in charge of the security of a server. Those are the same people who need the media to bring an exploit to their attention. They might fix Heartbleed but they never fix CVE-2014-wxyz and others and their server is probably already compromised or could be anyway. Some of the hackers will help keep your system up to date, since they don't want some other hacker taking one of "their" servers.
I found Heartbleed very simplistic and how it went unnoticed for so long is impressive. Why the hell did it let you specify the number of characters to send back and never check that? https://xkcd.com/1354/
I have had a dedicated UPS for about 14 years for my main PC. Since I have had less hardware failures (mainly power supplies).
It also helps protect the data to some extent. $150 to protect my ~$1000 PC plus some data protection.
Exactly. I was thinking the same thing. Most the images looked virtually identical, but the main image where the PC showed more detail I just see jpeg artifacts as you said. I looked up at the URL and saw
One phrase I have not heard this election cycle is "Tea Party Candidate", nor have I seen any coverage of any Tea Party anything. They need to bring all that back, that much more fun to watch.
Speaking for workstations/desktops: Every business I know or dealt with has no plans to go to Windows 8.x, ever. They all buy desktops that might come with Windows 8 but they just get imaged to Windows 7. Most of them lagged getting away from XP and they just now got to 7. My best guess is Windows 10 will be the successor after it comes out and proves to be stable and usable as a desktop OS.
I heard one tech recently say something about how we should upgrade to Window 8 and it pretty much made me laugh. Why would we? By the time we finished rolling out Windows 8 and working out the kinks Windows 10 would be out, our Windows 7 is stable and will be supported for many more years.
FTA: "These gains did not come at the expense of Windows 7, which still managed to grow 0.34 points to 53.05 percent."
