I don't like the ideal of binary log files, but I can get behind everything else.
For capitalism humans are required not only for labor but also as consumers. Therefore the elites require to find a way to distribute money to the rest otherwise their system will collapse. However, I have the distinct impression that they do not know that.
I have the distinct impression that they do not care about that, all they care about is hoarding wealth, capitalism is simply a means to an end for them.
Are we going to put them in prison when they assault someone?
No because they would be judged mentally incompetent to stand trial. You would commit them if they were a danger to others.
I feel they should be given the same rights as mentally incompetent persons. In particular, they should be given the right to have a conservator appointed; this would benefit them because it is usually crime for a conservator to take advantage of a conservatee. If they are granted personhood status, I would anticipate they would be entitled to SSI, Medicare, Medicaid, and Food Stamps. They should also be entitled to make, at least, minimum wage for any work they perform.
The only objective is to keep them from dying, and we already know the death rate of ebola through empirical observation, so we don't need a control group.
Sounds like she has a solid case for copyright infringment.
Since the egg came from her mother the baby would actually be her sister, or brother.
Remember the movie wall-e? All those fat people on the ship, we're going to end up like them if we don't tackle the root problem. A cure for type II diabetes is great and all, but it does nothing to solve the root problem(s).
You cannot serve warrents to search property in other countries.
It doesn't matter where the property is located, the company is incorporated here and in doing so has submitted to the jurisdiction of the court. The court has personal jurisdiction over the company. If you don't like it then move the company out of the court's jurisdiction. This is law 101. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
It's a position Microsoft and companies like Apple say is wrong, arguing that the enforcement of US law stops at the border.
Get a clue, you incorporated within the United States! If you don't want to follow US law then move your ass to the other side of the border.

As many of you noticed, the distrowatch.com domain name was suspended by the domain's registrar, Doteasy, last Sunday. I don't want to go into details about what exactly happened as it's a long and boring story. Suffice to say that I feel grossly aggrieved by the series of greedy and even malicious actions taken by Doteasy and as soon as I get this sorted out, I will be looking into transferring the distrowatch.com domain name to another registrar.
DistroWatch continues operations at its alternate domain name, distrowatch.org. Can anyone recommend a suitable, Linux- and BSD-friendly domain registrar to help get DistroWatch back online under its chosen URL?
Today is a good day for information-gathering. Read someone else's mail file.
