i've found that if i specify what i think im worth by giving them a number i feel is high for the position, most recruiters will tell you they can't pay that much and give you the opportunity to see what their max range is... then accept it or try to finagle a couple of bucks an hour/10k-year.

i typically go with current or past salary +20%-25%.

there was a thread about this last time dark-net markets were discussed on /., there is a law against drug sniffing or any other type of detection method against US postal items, it relates to an unlawful search, i.e. each parcel is the same as a car or home search, unlawful unless probable cause or a warrant.

if i steal cable from my neighbor then his service is degraded and i am depriving him of something, if i copy a movie i make no degradation to the original and thus no harm.

esp since i'm never gonna pay to see the expendables 3, i might watch it for free tho... like when it plays on tv 4000x

It's telling them to take responsibility for their choices in how they interact with the world at large."

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA omg are you serious... this has to be tongue in cheek no?

you don't see any similarity in telling a woman to be aware of her surroundings and how she presents herself to the world and telling me to take responsibility for their choices in how they interact with the world at large is the same exact thing?

it amuses me when people talk about the old Greek this or the original Sumerian that, the only way to get understanding is by God so why should it matter what the original word is thought to mean? as if you could break into God's knowledge with a crowbar, it's silly.

if they can make a profit in those companies selling their drugs for prices in other countries, they can make a profit here.

1. Bullshit if you say they are selling drugs here at a higher price so they can make it affordable in other countries. If they can't make a profit, they won't sell it.

2. Bullshit if you say they don't make their money back and then 700% profit. Patents on these drugs last a minimum of 7 years and then the drugs are sold to every single person they can con doctors into prescribing them to.

Drug companies care about one thing, profit, just like any other company. anything they tell you otherwise is just bullshit PR so you'll buy their product over someone elses.

1.Where do people buy cars then since dealerships are the only (well until now with tesla) legal means of buying new cars?

2. Yes i'd take a better title because down the road that title is worth more at other companies.
