If you're really asking, all you have to do is sign in to the new PS3 with your PSN id and then go to the store and download the games.

And since you have a 60gb PS3, you can use an SD, CF, or Memory Stick flash card to copy your save games. Or you can use a USB flash drive if you prefer.

I had to get my 60GB unit replaced and was surprised how easily the "replacement" process was after I got my new unit.

What happens when the user then tries to enter their password and it has a space? It is easier to tell the user not to use a space at the beginning or end of a password when creating it than it is to remember to use a trim everywhere you read a password from. Now, I would use the trim anyhow, but if the user thinks that their password has a space at the beginning of it they're going to use it all of the time and eventually run into some problem.

Submission + - Amp'd Mobile Hit with FCC Fine

eldavojohn writes: "Another communications company has been handed a $100k fine from the FCC for not protecting user data. This is related to fallout from the well known Dunn-HP case: "The proposed fines, announced Tuesday, come in the wake of disclosures that detectives hired by Hewlett-Packard Co. — and a myriad of other so-called "data brokers" — routinely acquire personal phone records by impersonating customers targeted in private investigations and billing collection cases." I wonder when they're going to apply these fines to companies that routinely serve private data to government agencies with no warrant?"

Journal Journal: Do we want to know what others think about us?

A new service - http://myfeatures.org is offering us to know what other people think about is - were they friends, colleagues, etc. I think most people are sometimes nudged by the question - "what do they think about me, am I cool or boring?". But of course few people are going to tell you that you are "boring, irritating" or "awesome". A school game introduces the concept of anonymous evaluation - every student writes a good and a bad features of each class
Wii

Submission + - Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Announced

Headcase88 writes: Sega and Nintendo are collaborating to make a Wii and DS game for the upcoming 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. The main characters from both franchises will be featured, including Mario, Sonic, Luigi, Knuckles, Yoshi, and Tails. Sega of America president Simon Jeffery claims that the game is being built predominately by Sega's sports team (but not AM2 studio), and contends that "Miyamoto-san himself is actually very closely involved". Could this reverse the trend of mediocore Olympics games?
