Sure, that's an example of a user case where using a password manager can be inconvenient.
But...
+ You don't have to have the password manager generate your password, meaning you can still use readable passwords.
+ The hassle of *not* using a password manager is potentially much bigger. Seriously, how often do most people log on to a site from a friend's computer? If regularly for a particular stie, just pick a readable, memorizable password for that one particular website.
