"the problem with renting special equipment is you also have to have the trained personnel to operate it. mostly you are better off contracting the service of having the earth moved instead of renting the equipment to do it yourself"

This business is NOT about renting bulldozers to homeowners digging a basement. It's about renting bulldozers to a contractor who already knows how to operate them and has all the licensing (or has an employee who does), but doesn't have enough jobs that need dozers to justify buying one that will sit unused most of the time. By doing it as a peer-to-peer agreement rather than one company owning all the equipment and taking all the risk, everyone can make money.

BTW, one of the money-makers my HVAC installer mentioned was that they own a crane and have a licensed operator ... anyone who needs crane service can hire his crane and operator if he's not using it for his own jobs. He's be happy to have a third party deal with the bookings.

I was running Win10 on an old Core2duo laptop until about a week ago & never once had a crash (even on older hardware). My problem was it eventually wound up being very unproductive. In Win7, if I need to ping something, I click Start (logo, whatever) & type cmd, enter, ping (IP), enter. Easy-peasy. Win10 took away typing things in Start (or perhaps this was an issue with my own install, YMMV), you have to click the superfluous search button next to start. Except that stopped working too. No worries, in Win7 I can go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt. Except, in Win10 this wasn't there (you know, roughly where it has been since Win9x - mind you, I skipped Win8, so it is possible this was broken a long time ago). After 2 minutes of looking, I fired up Teamviewer & remoted into a Win7 box.

Adding features is great. Obfuscating tasks that have worked a certain way for well in excess of 10 years ... not the way to keep older customers happy.

No crashes, and I recognize it is a Preview release, but I sure hope some significant bugs get worked out.

I'd be there with you, but the trouble is most anti-vaxers are so because of a belief - the same belief that assures them that their child won't get sick. By the time the kids gets sick, it's too late. There is no deterrent if they believe they are safe (regardless of how rooted in reality their belief actually is).

While personally I am ok with punishing them after the fact (a little more ok that I want to admit ;)), if it stands an equal to zero chance of working as a deterrent, I can't think it's a good idea politically.
