Try to manage the whole work-life balance. At least until you can change your career to something where moving around a lot is part of the job. I spent three years in agriculture, and lost about 50 pounds. I'm currently taking classes for a career change to geology.

A neighbor attached a 10 inch glass disk to an old style computer box fan, and it turned about 15 RPM. He positioned the disk so that it dipped into a half plastic milk carton of vegetable oil. In the US, women receive more cancer screenings than any other country in the world.
Their cancers are caught earlier.
They receive treatment sooner.
They have a higher survivability rate.
Even if they don't have insurance.

Little tiny Sacramento County ( 2 million people) has more MRI machines than all of Canada.
In Canada, there is no medical or pharmaceutical liability, zero malpractice lawsuits, that's about 10% of the cost in the US.

It is important to remember that the US population is about 15% Black people, and unfortunately Black men have a very high death rate to diabetes and heart disease, most die before 60.
The US is also about 20% Mexicans, and they have shorter live expectancy that Caucasian people.
Canada has a very high Asian population, and Asian people have a much higher life expectancy than other groups.

In the US, homeless people call 911 for a free taxi ride (in an ambulance) to the emergency room in order to warm up. I saw it myself twice while doing volunteer work in an ER.

And where do the hell do Canadians or Kiwis or British get off telling us how to run our own country?

Where, again, was the downside?

Actually, I'm a very conservative Latino male. I've seen racism, and I abhor racism from all sources.

Sotomayor believes in this thing called "Social Justice", which to me means justice based on the social standing of the participants. Consider how many ways that can go wrong.

Consider the reaction if someone proposed a White Supremacist vision of Social Justice... Or a Black Supremacist vision of Social Justice. How about a Neo-Nazi vision of Social Justice. Fundamentalist Islamic vision of Social Justice?

Is it any better to to advocate a Mexican Supremacist vision of Social Justice? And remember, Sotomayor is a member of "La Raza", Spanish for "The Race", a Mexican Supremacist organization. An organization that seeks to return Aztlan (Southwest US states) to Mexico.

Anyone who says I can make a better legal decision based on my race, is a racial supremacist.

Anyone who belongs to a race based supremacist organization does not belong on any court.

There are many classes of racing, many of them very close to stock production with the addition of safety equipment.

However not having a top speed of 250MPH kind of takes the appeal out of it.

I have a friend that races in a mazda miata class.

But it's important to remember that a motor racing hobby is much more expensive and addictive than say Heroin.... (er maybe not quite more addictive)
