I've grown extraordinarily pessimistic that anything can or will be done about climate change at this point, and my only thought at this point is that we just need to enjoy what we can until the inevitable self-inflicted pain and suffering we will endure from its affects.

So let's all party for tomorrow we may die.

The folks at iheartubuntu have figured out a way to get Netflix to run on the Windows version of Firefox using Wine (with a number of custom patches) and Silverlight. They plan on releasing packages for it all soon. Currently, it seems they have only had success with 32 bit while compiling for 64 bit is tricky."

ndogg writes: "Adapteva had started a Kickstarter project to fund mass production of a highly parallel computer for just $99. They have met their Kickstarter goal. Their first system will have a dual-core ARM A9 that will control their 16-core Epiphany accelerator (each core running at 700 Mhz). It will ship with Ubuntu pre-installed."
