Indeed! Many people forget that, and of course you want to try your new pristine towel right away, and then it's a disappointment.
I feel the same. I hate those fluffy soft towels that make you feel like you have a thin layer of oil on you. BTW, I think new towels are washed in softener before they are sold.
Never use a softener for towels. It makes them hydrophobic.

Very true. I've been following the behaviours of big technology companies for the last 20 years, just out of personal interest, and the amount of startups MS alone has killed out of fear that they would grow big is just enormous.

Just lay it on the bench, dress, take it with you inside and keep an eye on it. Cheap and handy.
This. I have a few categories like animals, landscapes and the like where the date I have taken the pictures doesn't matter so much but most of my pictures are in [path]/happenings/[date][description]. All file names in that directory also start with the date and a description, followed by a number to keep them in a logical order.
