It looks like (at least according to another reply to the parent that wasn't visible as I was writing mine) the option to disable Flash was moved in the browser options from a dedicated checkbox to a general "Enable Plugins" setting that I didn't see.

After reading your comment I checked the built-in browser on my newly-updated FroYo Incredible just to confirm that you were wrong about the inability to disable Flash. Much to my chagrin, I found you to be the opposite of wrong.

This is disappointing as I would always browse in 2.1 with Flash turned off, and now I can't do that in the default browser anymore. I never installed any third-party browsers because I feared more use of the battery from an app that's not as tightly integrated into the OS. Are these fears at all justified?

The only thing I have on my desktop is my attached HDDs. If I want to launch a program I just hit CTRL+SPACE and type the first couple letters, then hit RETURN and the program starts.

GM did the same thing in their Blazer / small sport ute vehicles. Placed the brake lines (and the gas line) on top of the driver side frame. Over time, they just rust all to hell (especially here in ohio) and one day, foom. No brakes in the back and fluid everywhere.

To be honest, there doesn't seem to be a really good place to put these that they're not going to get wet etc; however I would pay a little more to get them rubberized to keep the water out - at least for the 10+ years I like to have a vehicle in service. I guess they're not that hard to change out, even if you bend your own - but still just one more annoyance.

I was born in 1987 and played DN3D. I remember scratching the "Parental Warning" label off of the box so my mom would let me buy it.

If I recall correctly DN3D (or one of the special editions) also included DN 1 and 2. I remember being excited to play them until I discovered that they were like side-scrolling platformers, at which point I said "what the hell is this?" and went back to DN3D.

I'll be waiting for Google to unveil the Nexus 6 Android. I hear the AI will be state of the art!
