You are missing the point. This is a platform for hardware and software hackers. Somewhere between small microcontrollers (PIC/Atmel) and a PC.

How many PCs and laptops have GPIO pins and will run from a microSD card?
The Pi was never intended for video playback or a desktop replacement. The main goal was a low cost learning platform.
Firefox has become the new Netscape. Every release was slower and once they switched to Australis I dumped them entirely for Chrome. Most of the addons I used are also available for Chrome now. I got a good laugh reading about their video chat client. Nobody ever asked for that. How about making existing features better instead of adding shit for no good reason? No wonder Google stopped funding them. Google saw the direction it was going for and pulled out.
Nearly two grand for a days work? Get the fuck out of here. No wonder nobody is hiring them.
Say someone who receives a national security letter finds it posted completely anonymously to the internet. What can happen?
None of that stuff was ever on clearance when the place was closing. They stuck sale tags on everything and kept prices the same. Every store does this.
Maybe you should take two minutes and read the FAQ. The Raspberry Pi's primary design goal was to be low cost. There are a hundred other companies now selling more powerful (and expensive) boards. This was designed to be a learning tool for students and hobbyists, not a set top multimedia box.
Probably something to do with Dice.
I go to Alibaba because they sell cheap knockoffs.
How many years was Heartbleed around before anyone noticed? Apparently "many eyes" were not reading that bit of code.
I'm actually kind of happy what happened at the Bundy ranch. It shows you can still push back against the government.
That point is brought up every time EA fucks its customers over. I don't see them hurting for business.
Windows 8 and these screenshots look really ugly. Why the switch to every shape being super sharp and using a 4 bit color palette? Looks like something I could draw up in paint in a few minutes. At least Apple's designs are aesthetically pleasing. This just hurts your eyes.
Reddit was crowd sourcing surveillance and amateur photos taken from the bombing scene. They latched onto one person and started a witch hunt. Turns out the guy had nothing to do with it but now he had a million internet neckbeards and other crazies calling for his head.
