I only ever hear of plex being used to stream pirated stuff. Maybe they bought some streaming service that I have also never heard of. However I would have to guess it never gets used. So many companies do this, including Amazon- why would people choose to use their piracy-enabling app to buy content?

Yes. Grades are basically useless as a measure of a student. I'm a second-career teacher, and can tell you that teachers in the same grade, and the same department, of the same school, will have wildly different grade distributions. Now try to compare grades between students who come from different schools...or even states...or heck, even countries...and it's simply impossible.

When the revolution comes they'll have standard-based grading, but as it is now, at my low-income school I will basically give an "A" to every student who puts in a semi-decent amount of work (no homework, I just mean they pay attention in class) and has never had a traumatic brain injury. I've also taught at high-income schools, where cheating is rampant and giving an "F" on an assignment 1st period means an angry letter to the principal from the parent by 3rd period.

Apple Store sells Insta360, the dominant 360 camera, so I'm disappointed that it considers existing 360 content not good enough.

I own and use one myself, and while I agree that it is doesn't show off the full capabilities of the AVP...it's also unfair to say it's not high quality. It's still very impressive, and something I would definitely want to view on an AVP, even if there's room for improvement.

Not really. No source can tell you every fact. The conservative station will tell you all the facts about Hunter Biden's troubles, the liberal station will tell you facts about Trump's legal issues, nobody tells you what Biden ate for Breakfast. Somebody gatekeeps the information.

I've also heard that recently, the price of a cappuccino in Italy went up quite a bit. Italians thought they were in the midst of a widespread inflation crisis, even though overall inflation was at about 2% at the time - more attention gets drawn to small daily purchases than overall prices. Aside from a few specialist issues, people don't have the time or skill to make intelligent conclusions given a subset of information.

It limits the design of the car, and for all the publicity this story is getting, the reality is that charging an EV is not a big deal 99.98% of the time - swappable batteries is a solution in search of a problem.

Just installing a few more destination chargers is much easier than a nationwide network of battery swapping stations.
