Comment Learning a language? (Score 1) 185

There is also a possibility of people knowing about certain languages more than the others. In other words, in general, somebody programming in C might know the language better than somebody who is doing Javascript.

Having strong foundation is important to know how to get stuff done before using the 'internet'. Certain languages are just better at that.

But didn't you get the memo? This is slashdot. Here, you spread your legs and let Apple fuck you in the ass while constantly moaning thank you in their general direction. At the same time, if Google does something right, you are immediately supposed to ignore it, find a shill article and post it right away where "samzenpus" is waiting to accept it and post promptly.

Fuck samzenpus, and fuck the editors.

Submission + - Samsung wants to see iPhone source code (edibleapple.com) 1

An anonymous reader writes: In the latest example of Samsung embarking on bizzare and outlandish legal requests, the company in Australia is demanding that Apple hand over its soucrce code to the iPhone 4S as part of its efforts to ban the device in the country. Never mind the fact that the iPhone 4S has been available in the country for weeks now.

Submission + - Google Refuses To Remove Videos Of Police Brutalit (google.com)

E IS mC(Square) writes: Google has refused to remove police brutality (possibly at Occupy Oakland and probably similar other) videos.

Here is Google's statement.
'We received a request from a local law enforcement agency to remove YouTube videos of police brutality, which we did not remove. Separately, we received requests from a different local law enforcement agency for removal of videos allegedly defaming law enforcement officials. We did not comply with those requests, which we have categorized in this Report as defamation requests.'

While Slashdot editors and (most of the) readers have their heads up in Apple's ass with non-stop anti-Google propoganda lately, lets see if this story selected. Because it deserves the mention.
