They are losing money, when it costs 300 million + advertising to make a movie, then don't even get 300 million, that's a loss.

Let me introduce you to the shenanigans Hollywood uses to account for expenditures. I highly doubt they're loosing anything, other than on paper.

In the 80s, 90s and 2000s the children's channels made way more than that off of advertising directly to minors. How is this wrong when that was OK? And don't tell me about tracking and personal data shit, nobody under the age of 23 cares about that, and it's the parent's responsibility to keep track of what their children are doing, so it's on them that their little shits are on the internet getting tracked by all these sights that forbid anyone under 13 from joining.

The U.S. is quite a large mass of land, and many of us live in small rural towns that don't have the shopping options of those in the big cities. I shop online for things I can't get locally, which is much of what I need/want. I really don't want to drive for an hour or more to shop for necessities.

What do you mean done away with the two-day part? Literally everything with the prime symbol next to it ships next day... Has something gone majorly backwards where you live? Which region are you in? (European here).

They may ship the next day, but not everything is shipped via two-day shipping, often they give the delivery estimate several days out. Sometimes the item will be delivered a day or two early, but more often than not I get nothing within two days of ordering any longer. Like I said though, that wasn't a big deal for me, but if they start showing me adds while watching "free" shows and movies, they can kiss my ass goodbye. At that point, the annual Prime fee is pretty much just a donation to Bezos' bank account so he can play pretend spaceman.

Hell, Walmart gives me free next day delivery if what I order is in stock at my local Super Center, and like The-Ixian said earlier, I can get free shipping by ordering $35 worth of stuff.

I joined Prime due to the free two-day shipping years ago. They've since done away with the two-day part of that, but I was OK with that with free Prime video. I've also signed up for Walmart+, and I'm finding myself purchasing more and more from them anyway, so If Amazon start showing me adds, I may just end my Prime subscription.

While waiting on the Galaxy S24 line, I'm using a Chargie on my Pixel 7. It's not quite as plug and play as when I first got it since Goodle did away with auto Bluetooth enabling, which was the last straw for me. I traded an S23 in on this POS, and have regretted it damn near since the first day.
