The U.S. is quite a large mass of land, and many of us live in small rural towns that don't have the shopping options of those in the big cities. They may ship the next day, but not everything is shipped via two-day shipping, often they give the delivery estimate several days out. Sometimes the item will be delivered a day or two early, but more often than not I get nothing within two days of ordering any longer. Like I said though, that wasn't a big deal for me, but if they start showing me adds while watching "free" shows and movies, they can kiss my ass goodbye. I joined Prime due to the free two-day shipping years ago. They've since done away with the two-day part of that, but I was OK with that with free Prime video. I've also signed up for Walmart+, and I'm finding myself purchasing more and more from them anyway, so If Amazon start showing me adds, I may just end my Prime subscription.

It actually does support embedded video (see second paragraph). I guess nobody uses it.
