I think most true geeks would have looked it themselves before getting to comments, too?
pff, I already had the chart memorized

It was just a joke, I move my ball all the time. I usually stop keeping score by the 3rd or 4th hole anyway. I just don't go around telling people I shot a 72 when it was more like 92. As far as I'm concerned, I've just been practicing golf for 20 years. I'll never play competitively, so there's no reason to be able to hit a ball in every possible situation.
But if you did play golf, you'd know that most golfers cheat on their score cards anyway
It's the other way around. Mean is average. Median is just the number in the middle.
I know we can, but we don't just do it when we feel like it. There has to be some general consensus. I've never seen the term minicomputer used that way. "Mini computer", maybe. The term "nanocomputer" would have been appropriate here.
Definitions of words aren't constantly changing. How confusing would that be? They change once in a while.
Just thinking about it makes me feel short of breath. I can imagine wanting to blast it away from your mouth by forcefully exhaling, but not having enough air in your lungs to do it.
it's not a complete ban
Exceptions to the Laws
When the driver uses a hands-free mobile telephone, which allows the user to communicate without the use of either hand.
Using a handheld electronic device that is affixed to a vehicle surface.
Using a GPS device that is attached to the vehicle.
When the purpose of the phone call is to communicate an emergency to a police or fire department, a hospital or physician's office, or an ambulance corps.
When operating an authorized emergency vehicle in the performance of official duties.
Are you saying we can change the definition of words if they were created before we were born?
That's driving crashlessly
No states ban all cell phone use while driving. Some states ban cell phone use under certain conditions - novice drivers, school bus drivers, commercial vehicles, etc.
I don't know what they're thinking, but I can't imagine they'd spend that much without a very good reason. If they incorporate advertising, that could bring in a lot of money
I'm not saying they're hard to install, it's that some people are resistant to change. I agree that most people have several chat apps. I do, because some people I know like to use LINE or viber over WA. It's just that there's always seems to be that minority that will only use WA, so I don't really have a choice but to use it if I want to talk to that person
Interesting! I just searched for their relationship with facebook and found this - In WhatsApp Deal, Sequoia Capital May Make 50 Times Its Money
That article says $8 mil was their initial investment, but has invested $60 mil in total!
Apparently, they start charging $0.99 a year after a one year trial period. I've been using it for over a year and haven't gotten any notifications about buying a subscription though. They also got an $8 million investment from Sequoia Capital. They don't advertise (word of mouth only), they have less than 100 employees, and spend very little on their website.
MySpace is back again.
No, MySpace is not back.
Dude, I'm telling you. It's back, okay? I got a profile on there now. The format is sick!
I hope you're right because I'd love to bring back my "Hey, Tom, I'm not your friend," joke.
