I'm interested to know whether you're using hardware that all Apple hardware is a joke compared to (e.g. 16+ cores) or hardware in a range that has vastly better price/performance than anything Apple offers (e.g. quad core desktops)

Sorry, I didn't really clarify: the outrageous claim I'm talking about is that the "the new owner is 3D Realms." 3D Realms is a company that recently cancelled the main project it had under development, laid off most of its staff, and is facing a breach of contract lawsuit from the publisher. I would have a hard time believing an announcement that 3D Realms acquired any company even if it was confirmed in 10 different major newspapers.

I'm sure the local News Team in teevee box ad market here could use another round of 'computer security reporting' to put a finer point on the "hacked a group calling themselves 4chan" YouTube fiasco.

When Google started to change from just linking the "Did you mean?" results to actually inserting them in place of the results for what I actually searched for, I realized on some level that this might be appropriate for people who don't know what they're doing and aren't paying attention, and that those people might be in the majority... But I didn't bother mentioning that in my angry feedback. =)

Maybe Google doesn't care about customer feedback because they're not in a position where they have to worry about the quality of the customer experience; if so, I hope they notice when that changes.
