They've done such an incredible job that I'm seriously considering a full move.

Also, they're already getting better sneak peeks at my developing tech.

This is a rectifier using LEDs instead of regular diodes, for one. Most available voltage is eaten up by the LEDs and the design intent if for exactly that. If one goes out, half of the array will still work, unlike regular Christmas tree strings that are wired in series.

"Slashdot is being ruined far more by the complaints than the Beta"

It's going to get ruined even more next. Wait until they see their legitimate bandwith bill we've got planned for their moron engineers. Any possible profit they'll have made in a year will be GONE. Slashdot Beta is going to get a Slashdot effect of its own, and we're going to show DICE exactly what they're fucking with.

We plan a roughly half billion dollar bandwidth bill to hit their ass the end of this month.

Slashdot will either get dropped or totally canned by DICE.

And we're done here. Slashdot deleting this from the firehose just guaranteed their absolute ruin and destruction.

Get ready to reap what you sow, DICE.

Journal Journal: Wall-AC LED Drive Achieved 2

What else can I say? Simple, easy wall AC-LED drive has been achieved.

12V was the first step. This is ~105V. POC done.

"Plug in your antenna and watch it for free."

I'm surrounded by mountains, and inputting my address into tvfool.com's signal strength tester shows that I can only receive two Korean stations.

And that's exactly all I can receive. If I wanted NBC, I'd have to move to the top of the nearby mountain to even get the header signal, and move another 10 miles further if I wanted any actual usable video and audio.
