Oh come on. Even during the Blitz, Britons made jokes about the Germans. Humor is how people cope with stressful situations, and it is a hell of a lot better a way to deal with terrorist threats than running around screaming your fool head off, or worse, in some ways, become a hyper-serious worry wort believing at any moment you're going to die in some terrorist bomber's explosion.

No, you're quite right. All that really counts is money, so providing someone is making money by not dealing with plastic trash entering waterways, that's good. Aquatic life, future generations, they don't really make us that much money, so fuck them, each and every one.

The issue here isn't whether you're convinced vaccines are good or not. The issue here is the insistence on an absolute right to refuse a vaccination for you and those you are a legal guardian over can have devastating effects on others. If you decide, as foolish as it may be, that vaccines are bad, and you refuse to have your children vaccinated, and there are enough of you that it compromises herd immunity, what is the recourse for those whose children are too young or for other legitimate medical reasons could not have the vaccine? Are you saying your rights outweigh theirs?
