We*What? WeChat! Well, I use GoSMS
Ohh wiat, it too, has Asian origins. Anyone see a trend here? I see one.

Put another way, we have musicians who don't have a clue on how to play a musical instrument at all! Trouble is, they are still famous - for their voice I guess.
The documents reveal what had been a mostly secretive process that allows the government to create a travel alert for a person (regardless of whether they're a suspect in an investigation), then detain that individual at a border crossing and confiscate or copy any electronic devices that person is carrying.
Can some fella convince me that the government here, is any different as compared to those other governments?
Ohh wait, those governments are not democratic but ours is...
Well, I noted that some "patent expert" didn't report this at all, despite being one who is self proclaimed as following and reporting on patent issues. I am sure if this involved Google/Motorola or Android, this "expert" would have lots to report on the issue. I will abbreviate his name as FM. Is there a trend?
I applaud Google's admission, but sad to note that that the argument will embolden those who've been touting the "fact" that iOS is more secure than Android.
I guess one cannot be blamed for saying, "So much for the so called secure open nature of Android."
It just doesn't seem to work...or does it?
Does anyone else think the headline is link bait? I do, sadly!
"The Curiosity rover celebrates one year on Mars today.
Question is: Was the cost worth it?
I don't think so. In otherowrds, there's tons of better ways to spend all the billions injected into this project.
Steve Ballmer himself has recently declared that he was unhappy with the number of tablets Microsoft has managed to sell.
Can someone please pass the message on to Steve Ballmer that being unhappy isn't a strategy for business growth?
The CONgressMEN have sold us (US?) out, now they're selling out what they don't own, the electromagnetic spectrum. Is this a fire sale where everything must go?
Don't you folks in the USA "preach" to the world that you've got the "greatest" democracy?
I think it's in order to revise this mantra, no?
I ask because to me, such exensive upgrades are of no consequence if tragedies like Katrina will still take place and get responded to the way we did.
And we clearly dropped the ball by exhibiting [our] sheer incompetence to the world.
Judge Colin Birss, rules in favor of Volkswagon to ban Flavio Garcia, a computer scientist, from revealing details about 'Wirelessly Lockpicking a Vehicle Immobiliser' at USENIX in August.
How about if it "turns out" that this fella Flavio Garcia wasn't doing research alone, and that members of his team would want to "leak" the details on torrent sites?
We could still get them, no?
By the way, who believes that the fella Flavio Garcia, is the only fountain of knowledge on the matter?
I mean, seriously! Tim Cook should know that one size cannot fit all. It's for that very reason that I, for example, never liked and probably will never be impressed by Apple's "tiny" phones.
Their walled garden doesn't help matters either. Result? I do other things whenever they launch another product. And I'm not alone.
...I live along the equator where our days and nights ar "equal" throughout the year.
Trouble is that most Europeans I have met on my travels think it's hot hot hot at the equator, which isn't the case. In fact, their summers, which are responsible for some deaths among the elderly and young ones, are way hotter than the hottest day at home.
When I say this, they won't believe it until I remind them that we are at a higher elevation which is cooler...just like the clouds.
This Ad skipping technology can be defeated by keeping: -
1: Avoiding abrupt volume increases,
2: Avoiding abrupt changes in scene colour saturation,
3: Keeping the network logo on during commercials,
4: Randomly playing commercials. I have come to be in position to predict when a commercial is coming on.
Someone should develop the tech...or even better, patent it.
Function reject.
