Keep making stuff up and then being outraged over your own claim.
SMS is a basic but very reliable standard that works as a fallback, but nobody claimed it was sufficient for everything.
Commonly tethering is detected by a different ttl, as the connected device will have an extra hop on the way to the carrier router. Some software can be had to alter this count which may evade detection.
I had an awesome multiplayer game of Baldurâ(TM)s Gate 3 last night - on my M2 Mac. If Larian can do it, why not others?
Reddit is doing a speedrun in trying to destroy user trust. First they crush third party apps and then are caught lying about it and slandering the developer of Apollo, then they get rid of the Reddit Gold features and announce more user tracking/monetization.
Power users are fleeing the site and moving to Lemmy, which is growing quickly with all the disaffected users. When this is all over Reddit will be a husk of its former self and just another 9gag.
I know itâ(TM)s very trendy to bash Arabs and Muslims, but no you cannot rape your own daughter. Your link doesnâ(TM)t claim that, and rape like that is a capital offense. Can you stop making stuff up and stick to actual things to criticize the Saudi dictatorship over?
The problem is bundling. Slack does not have an office suite to bundle with its app, so it is at a competitive disadvantage to Teams. If we want market competition, we need to block monopolistic behavior.
My company is discontinuing the paid Slack tier in two weeks because they got a sweetheart deal from MS with the Office suite. Teams is absolutely worse for our use case than Slack, and we have to spend the next two weeks moving alerts, finding replacements for integrations, and backing up pinned posts and chat history. They're going to waste countless hours of expensive developer time to save $6/dev/mo.
Digital dollar is not a leftist idea.
When the voodoo1/2 were released they were unparalleled, top graphics chip available. Today's "4070" is 2 chips smaller than the largest, and 3 down from the top SKU.
You can go back as far as 2005 while the vendors had segmented chip options to see that the then $600 top spec 7800gtx would be under $1000 in todays money, so well below the $1600 that nvidia wants for the 4090. They only did two chips, but the 7600gt was merely $200 then.
It's pretty clear that nvidia has doubled the entry level chip price even after inflation. Up to now they had the excuse of high prices being to protect sales of their partner cards on the last generation, but this product will still outcompete everything from last generation except possibly the 3080 it's meant to replace.
I agree. People are trapped in their paradigms. When the iPhone was announced, a lot of people recoiled at the idea of a touch screen only phone. Why? Because most touch screens prior to 2007 were terrible. People remember poking at ATM screens with bad accuracy, or pressing hard with a stylus on cash register signature pads that were not sensitive.
People are resistant to the idea of VR because they remember either Google Cardboard or large heavy arcade headsets. They can't imagine light thin hardware like BigScreen Beyond.
Indeed - I have run Linux in 4MB!
I find you ideas fascinating and wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

No to both. Mastodon actually has some extra features that twitter doesn't, and is pretty full-featured. Meanwhile, Twitter is breaking in some serious ways, all third party apps are broken and 2FA was broken for a while as well as outages.
