Cell phone use causes the brain to disconnect from the whole body. When you spend your whole day staring at that tiny screen ignoring everything around you many things go wrong.

Nothing until they are out for a joyride in their brand new sports car and they loose control due to carelessness and wreck my car / destroy my property / hit me while I am walking down the road.

Not letting them on the road seems a little extreme but do they have to have a brand new car? What happened to having a beater to putt around in for the first few years?

Companies and politicians are more interested in looking good and in getting the snazzy release announcement / photo op then releasing accurate, neutral data to the public. An announcement will be heavily promoted / advertised and people will remember those ads more then they will remember the tiny retraction issues three weeks later.

Several years ago they were bought by Bell and re-branded as The Source. They still operate in Canada.
