Mostly media center type programs and things that made heavy use of usb ports.
For myself all the programs I wanted to run under XP 64 crashed like a mofo. MS conspiracy I dunno. But the windows 7 public betas and rc run those programs perfectly it is almost as if MS wanted vista to be a total failure just to get even pirates to purchase windows 7.
Thanks looks like a great read.
Money 95 or 97. I got it free when I opened some bank account way back when. It did everything I needed and worked perfect under wine and then eventually a VM. Hated all versions after that. These days most banks have online systems that have rendered most of what these programs do obsolete.
If that VGA cable could carry 8 channel audio and ethernet you might have a point. With anyDVD and the like the DRM problem is largely moot.
I can't wait. One less cable connection to worry about. Increases wife/girlfriend acceptance factor for HTPC and other nerd devices.
but would prefer #8. Or the models in Caprica.
Given NoScripts recent shenanigans need to find an alternative to that one though.
Charlie didn't ask for ID when I fought at La Choy, and Chun King. I saw my best friend's head explode at Margaret Cho.
Do you think if we weren't in a depression Adrian would of come off less creepy?
OSX 10.5 was initially slower than OSX 10.4 unfortunately. Only after several revisions did it reach parity. I blame apple for either releasing 10.5 too early or focusing too much time on the iphone/ipod touch.
One good reason why computers can do more work than people is that they never have to stop and answer the phone.
