Best Buy founder and former CEO Richard Schulze, who is trying to buy his former company, had asked the retailer for an extra 30 days to conduct due diligence before decided whether to make a bid. Schulze was said to be working with three private-equity firms to offer a more appealing proposal to the company and had also been interested to see how Best Buy performed over the holiday season."

If you want keep yourself hidden from the world on social media it's not going to work out. I own a computer business and online store I have enjoyed a great deal of success but I am the public face of the company. Just the way being a business owner is people people want to see the boss whether it's in face or on internet. I am not saying share your life but you are your brand when it comes to business.

You think since Microsoft is based out of Washington they would want put there stamp on it and call it Microsoft Fiber just to rain on Google's recent fiber success. See these are the NEWS generating things Microsoft needs to do get themselves into the spot light not that I am a Microsoft fan but you would think someone at Microsoft could think these things.

I am sure many of the die hard slashdoters use BSD. The old slashdot readers like myself were and still are linux and unix enthusiasts. The article helped a NON-PROFIT organization and slashdot got some positive press. Good for them. Web sites do have ways to track where site donations and site traffic comes from.

Let's be real Microsoft wants a bigger cut because windows 8 is slow out the gate and office is there second biggest seller. Microsoft wants there big cut but they software structure and licencing model is a dinosaur. They need to start operating like a app company or cloud computing company if they want survive.
