I'll eat just about anything, I just know people who won't eat Venison or elk. I don't know why, but I guess they are people who are unwilling to try something different. My wife was like that, but since she's tried Bison, she has had a change of heart. I think it has to do with the factory farms and all the crap put in the meat. Michael Pollan's books have helped broaden her diet.

If we are overrun by Monk Parrots, eat them. Same goes with feral pigs, Asian Carp and Snakehead fish. Feral Pig is very tasty. Don't eat Florida Pythons, they contain high levels of mercury. Rabbits are a good alternative to beef. They are high in protein, and offer high iron for those who need iron in their diet.

When I was a kid I remember my mom paying per pound before boarding a helicopter. She wasn't obese, so it wasn't a slam at her. Planes and helicopters have a limit to what they can lift. If I owned an airline I'd want two 150lb paying passengers than one 300lb passenger.

I sorta agree, yes it'll run.

Case in point: Q9550 @3.2Ghz, Radeon 5870, 8G mem would chug is several games (last few Assassin's Creed games,
Dishonoured, Max Payne 3, etc). No slouch to be honest, so there I agree.

However, getting a 3770K @4.7Ghz, Nvidia 660 and 16G of mem = SMOOOOTH gameplay in the above games.

The only time I've seen slow downs is when folding on 6 out of 8 cores with GPU folding paused...even that is rare.

The video card is not the only limiter as I found out after a bunch of research for a paper I did a while back, yes the
new cards kick much ass, but w/o modern CPUs and memory to back it up most of the benefits will not be realized.

(However, for the record you are correct, and would be spot on if most games were half-way decently threaded).
