I'm not actually buying into the conspiracy theory as such here. Just pointing out that while it looks like an amazingly unlikely sequence of events, if someone's immune system had been compromised, they'd get what looks like a series of unlikely events in terms of nasty, unusual infections which turned out to be much worse than normal.
Any particular selection would look rather unlikely (what's the chance of getting X followed by Y?), but, say, if it wasn't those two it would be some different ones (with the same questions). If this was an attempted assassination (though if you just want to send a message it's as good to fuck people up badly as to kill them), it would have been an attack on his immune system, and then let whatever happened next take its course, rather than trying specifically to infect him with MRSA.
Still though it looks like leaving a bit much to chance for me, but if more drop like flies then it does get a bit sus.
