It's an issue for me only because it is a larger sign of political rot in the Democratic Party. But then again, I'm from Oregon, where it has just been revealed that multi millionaires being investigated for influence peddling have been granted *public defenders*, because apparently, despite over $200,000 in income in 2014 alone that failed to be reported to the IRS, they can't afford lawyers.

It's easy to be against the death penalty. I'd cheerfully see it struck to end the evil of abortion.
But, as Trotsky didn't say: "You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you."
I guess if the Left were consistently anti-war with a Democrat POTUS, all the peacenik crap would seem more a true sentiment, and less a fifth column.

Not being burdened with either a Holy Tradition, or a need to Protest against such, I only follow the problem part way.
Conversely, I rejoice in supporting the Pope when he's rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
Has the Great Apostasy begun? I don't know, but how many vote for candidates that support abortion, irrespective of church label?
