YouTube is always pushing their premium service that removes ads. I wonder if their algorithm works differently for subscribers since it is no longer in their interest to get you to watch as much as possible.

One problem with a transparent process is that people will exactly what they need to do to not break the rules while being as horrible as possible. If the rules aren't transparent it makes dancing on the edge much harder.
