Hell, make it simpler, if someone leaves me their computer, does the drive need to be wiped and all the programs and OS repurchased, even if they came with the computer?

Because a MAC address cannot be cloned, or hell just trash a dirty NIC.

Yea, there was a Ruby workshop I was interested in attending; but seems it was only open to women.
If they felt men as a gender would be disruptive then that should be handled on an individual basis regardless of gender, and even then I find it hard to believe that it'd be a widespread issue.
As it stands, women probably have a far greater opportunity advantage from Diversity Quotas, Gendered Scholarships, and Classes. lsu many of the complaints can be attributed to the female dominated HR field; which has shown that women in HR will not hire other women they consider to be prettier then themselves.
Same here, that's the only reason I got by RS now.
I might pay an inflated price, but it's still only $1 in store compared to $0.25 online; so no big deal.
Their less techinal stuff, like an audio exten cable, are just bullshit though; $20 for a 3' stereo cable, not even a Monster, it was RS's store brand.
Also Netflix has made the offer available to setup CDN servers in the local providers facilities to ease the BW usage on their peers. Google uses this; but Verizon, Time Warner, and Comcast do not, who then whine about the BW use.
Or Brian Cox, who has already hosted several science shows on the BBC.
Yea, plus if you've seen him on stage with his peers he can come off rather negatively.
There was that one panels he did a couple years back alongside Cox and Nye in which he kept interrupting Nye and arguing semantics throughout. By himself he's great, but along side people whose opinions mean the same as his and not so much.
Yea, remember that failed scifi show, Terra Nova?
Thing cost $2million an episode.
Game of Thrones?
$6million for the first season episodes.
Short of something unprecedented with Kickstarter it's won't be crowdfunded. While the cost drops over time, you still need a ton of money to get it off the ground and sustain it for several years.
You're forgetting they've been getting additional taxes and fees from every land line and internet user in the nation since the 90's with the express purpose of improving the US's infrastructure.
Not just by law... My Apt complex has an exclusivity deal with one local company, that charges out the ass for shit service. If i don't like it I can move. No other service I take advantage of, would require that I completely move where I live in order to change providers.
You're conflating the issue....
The sender may pay the your local government for the permit but the end recipient is not. Whereas with this deal, that's what OP Is saying. Same for the USPS, no one has to pay to receive their mail in a bulk package and then filter out the wanted and unwanted.
It's not like cellular since if I have 10 minutes left on my plan and I need to make a call I know exactly how long I have and can end it without any overages. Whereas with the internet I have no control over if I get DoS'ed, and even if I am, any firewall I install will be past the point of meter so I'll still be charged. Plus video advertisements which would then be directly costing me money.
Not the first time either... IDK why the admins can't impose a rule about duplicate posts in the comments.
How many cases are there that one user would need to make a dozen identical posts of over 1000+ words?
And having female only educational opportunities is not going to do jack shit.
You'd have to basically start from birth and not raise the child in anything we could even convince to be a gender role.
Current plan seem to be to have rendered classes and financial aid to help promote more women, but of course if they are not interested to begin with, they either wont sign up; or wont have a passion for the field.
Officially it seems you're right, so either it's a rumor or someone did let it slip.

> What about the rumours circling around the world about certain people being nominated for the Nobel Prize this year?
> Well, either it's just a rumour, or someone among the invited nominators has leaked information. Since the nominations are kept secret for 50 years, you'll have to wait until then to find out.
Similar deal happened to me and Steam a few years back, after a few ticket replies and me providing the expected government documents, they returned it to me.
The trouble with a lot of self-made men is that they worship their creator.
