Streaming will become a commodity as there are multiple reliable/convenient methods to access content. Content will be the differentiator, and Amazon isn't going to want to rely on a third party relationship to provide that.

Cue the count down until Disney is bought by Apple for similar reasons.

PCs are definitely cheaper than Macs. But they are not better value. Rarely will a PC spec'd similar to a Mac cost less. I discovered that when looking at the $2,000 Macbook Pro. Not much on the PC market that could touch it for less than $1,500 and none of those PCs were really better as a total package.

I'll be honest. I would be very very hard to not put a fucking bullet in the head of anyone who threatened, let alone tried to take my child away from me. I'd be that case you'd hear about on TV where the parent murdered the people who came to take his child away and everything would go to shit. And it could all happen because a teacher makes a mistake in their perception of a situation. Scary world. How things can escalate.

I was joking a bit. I understand where you're coming from, although my personal experience in life has been mostly the opposite to what you argue.

But punching an entire group of people in the face because a minority are mean doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

"mean" is not the right word. most of these people are nice. just insulting.

saying things like there are no morals with out god. calling people heathens. threatening that we will suffer greatly after we die.

does that mean we can punch them in the face?

I studied comparative cognition (anthropology branch) and I can tell you that there are many studies that show that Dolphins use complex, syntactically based language in the wild. Chimps can learn complex language in the lab, but they don't have it in the wild like Dolphins do.

Dolphins also aren't known to use tools. So, this seems to be a obvious counter example to their hypothesis.

Sure, you can max it out to get over $30K, but even the LX model is much more powerful and better equipped than my 1996 EX model.

FYI...there was no V6 Accord in 1996. Top end model had an inline 4 w/ 130 hp.

Thanks for the link. Just read through. Confirms what I had heard from other Europeans. There are clear limits on what is otherwise called "freedom of speech" so that it is not really "freedom of speech" in the sense that we have it here in the USA but more like "mostly you can say what you want as long as you don't offend people too much"

just a sampling of what's not allowed in Czech...much more in the article from other countries...

denigration of a nation, race, ethnic or other group of people (Article 355 of the Criminal Code),[65] i.e. hate speech,
inciting of hatred towards a group of people or inciting limitation of their civil rights (Article 356 of the Criminal Code),[66]

public approval of a felony crime (Article 365 of the Criminal Code),[69]

public display of sympathy towards a movement oriented at curbing rights of the people (Article 404 of the Criminal Code),[70] e.g. propagation of hate-groups,

public denial, questioning, endorsement or vindication of genocide (Article 405 of the Criminal Code),[71] e.g. Auschwitz lie,

Don't get me wrong, these all seem aimed at making for a better society, and they may be good to have, but they are nonetheless limits of freedom of speech.
