You know, I mean I agree with you totally with you 200%. But knowing those facts will not change *anything* to the world of NSA, except for Snowden's life. He's a hero nevertheless.
city.washington.dc.us -- city.toronto.or.ca don't we already have * ENOUGH * of those names ?
The role of of the comments is to stimulate debates. There are no debates without people for and against a concept.
Actually that means that thieves have to steal two objects (that NFC thing added to your phone) instead of one (your phone alone).
Harder for thieves maybe, but the harder it becomes for them, the more violent towards you they can become. I don't think it's a very wise idea
Hmmm
Nothing like a good troll to read in the afternoon. I love reading Slashdot at -1
Sigh...
Are you working for Nokia ?

(OK 1 minute for a 256 bits key)
And you think everyone can crack WPA2 ?
MAC filtering is usually good enough when you live in a small village.
Not everybody is an IT specialist there you know, barely anyone knows what "kismet" mean.
I'm not saying you should MAC address filtering anyway as it's very unsafe and it's a pity to setup, I'm just stating the facts.
Is this Duke Nukem Forever ?
*CAN* work, everything is designed to break after a given period of time nowadays and nothing is repaired anymore. Ever heard of planned obsolescence?
Of course it won't change anything if you're no more covered by your warranty, but what if you are still covered?
