Thank you.
Thank you.
She was the first to smell a sudden burst of methane
Not to doubt your story, but how did she smell the methane? Methane is an odorless gas. This is why additional additives are included in the household gas for safety.
Damn you Slashdot for butchering my question after posting! Copy-paste looked fine on preview!
Rei: How did you manage to post the unicode in the first place successfully?
Iceland is also cold. Contrast it with tropical Hawaii full of sunbathing eye candy
Also, although "Kilauea" is hard to say, I don't even know how to read "BÃrÃarbunga". How do you pronounce the 'Ã' character?
Well, here is a good example: Mathematical axioms.
Axioms are supposed to be believed because they are the fundamental properties. You don't prove them.
As an example: Do you believe that prallel lines never intersect?
All of the ones that you choose. Or don't choose. Or can't be bothered to think about. Or none at all.
Glory to Discordia! Or not...
He is the new Jon Katz/Roland. But his opinion pieces are even more shit.
How many men have to contribute every single day to get enough volume to provide enough substenance?! Unless she been collecting it for a month beforehand...
Whatever the case may be, it is either a myth or just plain disturbing...
Thank you for your correction. Any help with learning this language is appreciated.
Please explain.
From my experience in the software industry, good managers are worth their weight in gold.
What you propose is impossible. We sill never have a perfect terrestrial civilization.
However, overall when you average out all the global situations, things have never been this good. Where do you draw the line before you say "Good enough. Lets set our goals higher"?
Bingo!
I love games and finished a computer science degree. Afterwards I could of went into game development, but after hearing how apalling working conditions are, avoided the industry.
Well, we can always redirect a couple of water ice commets to crash into Mars. That should provide enough O to the surface.
Isn't it nice not to have any locals complaining about extinction-size impacts?!
I stand corrected. US Military spending is indeed closely behind welfare and not insignificant. Thank you.
Moon's gravity is much less than that of Earth. However, it is sufficiently large that a maniac will have to throw the rock at a velocity of 2 km/s. Not to mention that orbital mechanics is sufficiently counter-intuitive, to make calculation of a trajectory quite non-trivial.
Long story short, that maniac would need to involve quite a significant amount of other similarly-minded maniacs to be successful. And considering how Earth would be a source of quite a few necessities of living on the Moon, that is rather unlikely.
In summary, it is unfortunately not (yet) the time for panicking and end-of-the-world sex. You are better off worrying about more mundane catastrophes: Like slipping in a shower.
Money is the root of all evil, and man needs roots.
