Can anyone here confirm the "sensitivity" of quantifying alpha contamination through indirect detection, and how to assess beta emitter risk (any other methods that can detect it)? Any new technology companies addressing these on the horizon (that I can invest in)?

If I were not constantly releasing millions of copies of my DNA in the form of dead skin cells everywhere I go. Either my cells need to also adopt this encryption standard, or I need a lifestyle where I am completely self sufficient (including my waste disposal), never having to leave my home.

Even then, a gust of wind while I am in the backyard might be all that is required one day for someone's reader to catch my DNA and run a simulation to match with facial recognition.

There are still some things I don't like about the journal (I haven't seen how to specify different retention rules for logs of different applications), but then I've only spent a few minutes actively using it.

Maybe the thing that irritates me about journal is I don't know what previously unsolved problem it is trying to solve, while making some log processing difficult.

It's not so simple. I approached the FBI with a proposal to use the military's already proven laser guidance and tracking systems to detect and rapidly respond to these threats. They apparently filed it under "kook" and never responded. The FBI is not interested in actually solving these cases. Not at all. Traditions are long-standing things. If they're interrupted for awhile and then brought back, that's part of it's history, not to delineate to say "Oh, well, that was one tradition, and this is another". It's still the same tradition, it's just been resurrected.

I suppose a 4000 year old tradition of having an open and international series of games to bring about peace and cultural tolerance/friendship might confuse some people into thinking that as a global event, the ability to view and participate in them would be something not controlled by a single group of greedy profit-oriented people who don't care to hear the clamours of said participants.
