Comment This news piece has been greatly exagerated (Score -1, Troll) 219

Seriously, come on. Do you PERSONALLY know ANYONE who was affected by this? Neither do I.

TFS and TFA should include something like: This news brought to you by our scaremongering overlords, courtesy of privacy nutjobs all over the globe.

This isn't legal documents we're talking about here, anyway. I'm also pretty sure this is covered under Facebook's EULA/TOS you didn't read.

Life goes on. Don't like Facebook, don't use Facebook.

Comment What's wrong with unregulated? (Score 0, Troll) 270

Our lives are already regulated by governments all the way to hell and back and look how messed up it is now.

Regulating internet will lead to more expensive and less efficient service for all. The only winning parties will be politicians and lawyers, as usual. The population always loses with regulation.

This is going to make top Go Daddy execs millionaires, and every other stockholder gets screwed after the execs flip and the stock tumbles down in the months following said IPO.

Protip: NEVER enter an IPO, no matter how awesome you think the company is. Wait and see how the stock performs over an extended period.

Comment Crusade against capitalism (Score 0, Flamebait) 398

I'm pretty sick and tired of this crusade against capitalism all over the world, where anyone who makes a lot of money is either evil, unethical, or oppressive to his employees.

Then you have folks like Thomas Picketty who preach to the socialist choir, and writes all the shit the lefties wanna read. Nevermind he's a millionaire himself.

We need more Ron Pauls.
