Very true. Multiculturalism and pluralism, like urban living, requires liberty and individualism.
The way I usually put it is "limited but strong"./ Limited in topics they can intervene on, strong enough to defend their competency.

Of course, if you are subject to the will of God, then you no longer have what secular humanists and libertarians call individual liberty, because you are following the rules of God, which lead to the common good, not to individual liberty.
Individual liberty is always might makes right- for the same reason that you don't give a shit about the poor South American and Afghani farmers that are forced at gunpoint to supply your drugs.
The common good requires such sacrifices from everybody, and individual liberty is opposed to individual sacrifice.
Individual sovereignty means might makes right in the end. The guy who can best defend his property rights, gets the property rights.
That has nothing to do with Asperger's. That has to do with reality. If you give people freedom to abuse their rights and use them against other people, then guess what they're going to do?
Or at least neither for the individual, since individual liberty is directly opposed to common good for all.
