I wish we could permanently filter unhelpful resources without having to add "-site:" to every search.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto mean that buyers aren't subscribing to their ridiculous $300/year fees for GPS map updates.
extending the guest experience into a true and meaningful relationship.
I don't want a "true and meaningful relationship" with Panera. I just want a sandwich. I'm not looking for a date. Your food is already terrible so what incentive is there for me to hand over my palm print? So you can "greet me by name?" What idiot thought this was a good idea?
At one time,
A company isn't going to pay to equip 10,000 remote offices when they're also paying for their headquarters. They can eliminate that expense completely by just eliminating remote work. I'm not saying the company shouldn't reimburse for company expenses, but suing the company to pay for your home internet sounds like a good way to get them to rethink whether it's worth it to them to allow remote work. They don't pay you to commute, either. You going to sue them for mileage?
Credit freezes wouldn't be necessary if the bureaus were doing their jobs. And at this point, I have no reason to believe that they're actually freezing it or that it can't just as easily be unfrozen by a threat actor.
People still use or go to that site? I remember when it first came out, and how artificial it seemed even then. Garbage.
If anything, I'd love to have an AI that used search engines intelligently.
Genuinely curious. What aspects are good, in your opinion?
My licensing costs have increased dramatically year over year for the past several years. While we expect modest increases every year, I had one contract ask for a 30% increase over last year. I think these companies are so used to sucking from the teat of vendor lock-in that they're starting to be surprised when the milk starts to run dry.
They've learned about Loab and decided this is the only way to stop her before she manifests completely in our world and destroys everything.
Jellyfin is nice, agreed. I've been looking for decent Plex replacements for a few months now...
However, I was so impressed with Infuse 7 that I paid for a yearly subscription. It works very well, has a decent enough interface, and I don't have to manage a server software to accommodate sharing my media, other than setting up one-time SMB shares (with a user/password).
Gosh, you get a cut of every private sale? Your books are already criminally over-priced, with marginal changes to each volume requiring the student to buy the latest copy every year. And that's not enough of a racket for you.
It's a naive, domestic operating system without any breeding, but I think you'll be amused by its presumption.
