once you have your test plan ready, determining fitness against either kernel should be straight-forward.

I learned assembly at age 14. That was on the Amiga writing intros for warez. Writing stuff that was visual was a great way to start.
Thinking back, understanding machine code opened the door to every other language.
MC680x0 assembly is beautiful though, unlike x86 which is sex with barbed wire.

we're at 3 comments posted, and already the tag exists.
either installed by an alliance of hardcore slashdotters, or by the admins themselves.
the preferences bug prevents hiding tags. it feeds the conspiracy theorist in me.
either way, it smacks of the behaviour politicians employ just before losing an election.

What is going on? This probably shows how important it is to use AppArmor in any closed-source application in Linux to restrict any undue access to your files."

Quoting Ars: "Users of both Windows XP and Windows Vista were writing to say that they could not validate their installations using WGA, and one user even said that his installation was invalidated by the service... The Microsoft WGA Forums are full of problem reports, and Microsoft WGA Program Manager Phil Liu has acknowledged that there is a problem, and that MS is investigating." Update: 07/25 22:10 GMT by KD :Microsoft has identified and fixed the problem and posted instructions for anyone whose system mistakenly failed a WGA check. It says 'The testosterone-fueled American male may be losing his punch'" I leave it to you all to draw your conclusions about this, but I still wonder what my hours of laptop-fu does to me.
