What I think would be an interesting, albeit probably a bad idea in the long run (spam), is an Internal Messenging system for slashdot. Users can send private messages to each other, instead of having to post it in their Journals. This way, I could find out why the hell some people put me as a friend, for instance ;)

Just looking back through my recent comments, I haven't been getting the automagick +2 for having excellent karma? Does that not apply anymore? all my comments ahve started out at +1 :/ Strange. . . . Any Ideas?
