Despite it being very easy, not every person who owns a car knows how to change the oil, change a tire, or replace brake pads. Not every computer user knows how computers work, and I would suspect that many people who drive cars consider internal combustion to be a black box process.

-5 troll article here.

I just installed Windows 10 last night. After the install was complete and you log in the first time, it asks you which of the installed browsers you would like to use. It still had Chrome, I selected it and it has since used it.

Does Mozilla want theirs to be at the top of the list? Do they expect that Windows 10 will carry over every setting from 7, 8, and 8.1?

Did the Mozilla CEO even try to install Windows 10 before firing off a message complaining?

I agree, but it is what is required of the police and CPS. When they receive a report, they have to remove the kids while they investigate to determine if injury is being done to the children. This happened because of lawsuits where people were saying "you received reports of this abuse, but you didn't remove the kids", well now they are forced to remove them.

APK, seek help, you have this delusion, and it doesn't seem to be getting better.

The FEATURE of which you speak is an optional item, not required. Who cares if ABP subsidises itself by allowing some advertisements through to those who have agreed to see them? Perhaps ABP will lead to more ad networks improving their behavior so they can make some money, who knows.

Now, if only hosts file or ABP would block your crapflood of posts, life would be grand.

You can get a Intel compustick for like $100. Full pc that can simu wifi to a shared folder and play whatever you want, plus as it runs windows or Linux you can do anything you want

A PC that can play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in high-definition and costs 1/6th as much as my video card? Impressive. Or are you using a slightly loose definition of "play/do whatever you want", more along the lines of "do anything it was designed for?"

I've been saying for a few years that if you just had a few solar panels in your back yard, and didn't want to go through the expense of all the inverter stuff, you could just use it to charge a small battery and power a DC air conditioner.

The big advantage of the DC air conditioner is that you can run it in parallel to a traditional air conditioner and don't have to worry about the grid connection. This will take load off of the main air conditioner and save money. No special controllers needed, just set the target temperature on the DC unit below the target of the traditional system. That way the traditional system should only run when it's both hot and dark/cloudy.
