Indeed! Many people forget that, and of course you want to try your new pristine towel right away, and then it's a disappointment.

I feel the same. I hate those fluffy soft towels that make you feel like you have a thin layer of oil on you. BTW, I think new towels are washed in softener before they are sold.
Never use a softener for towels. It makes them hydrophobic.
Yes I still remember those days. People were often hungry because their breakfast floated away. Hard times...
That is an ancient technology called walking.
Very true. I've been following the behaviours of big technology companies for the last 20 years, just out of personal interest, and the amount of startups MS alone has killed out of fear that they would grow big is just enormous.
Please add 'in the US' to the title. Here in Europe investments in clean energy increase yearly in some countries.
Is that such a strange thing, that people who don't have a clue about how computers work don't know this?
Or they are very careful about what they post.
Indeed. I never understood why many nerds, who are usually very sensitive about privacy, ran to Google's browser in droves.
Just lay it on the bench, dress, take it with you inside and keep an eye on it. Cheap and handy.
This. I have a few categories like animals, landscapes and the like where the date I have taken the pictures doesn't matter so much but most of my pictures are in [path]/happenings/[date][description]. All file names in that directory also start with the date and a description, followed by a number to keep them in a logical order.
You surely have chosen the right nickname!
It's funny that all the nerds here who can only write in horrible print want to ditch cursive writing so fast. Cursive is important not only because it looks prettier and is easier to read (have you ever read a EULA? I thought so. One of the reasons most EULAs are in capitals only is that that makes them very hard to read), but writing is a way to learn very fine motoric skills that you can only get by practicing and are hard to learn when your brain is fully formed. And those very fine motoric skills come in handy in all kinds of situations, like drawing, needlework, fumbling with modern electronics, repairing old watches or other small mechanical things, etc etc. so learning to write cursive is a means to many ends, only one of which is good writing.
I feel your pain. My iPhone 4 is worth nothing to BB.
